Edna Jen Warrington
President's Service Award - Fall 2010
Edna Jen Warrington began work in the University Library as a student assistant in 1973 and worked as a summer student there while earning her history degree. In 1978, she took a full-time position in the Government Publications department. There, she dealt with myriad requests, each of which she approached with patience and thoroughness in the pursuit of enquiry. In 1998, she created a development program for the library that would cultivate new sources of funding. By 2002, she had left Government Publications to assume her current role as Library Development Officer. Anyone who has sought her assistance in the library can attest to her uncompromising quest for excellence as well as her belief in engagement, scholarly enquiry and an enriched student experience.
