Award for Distinction in Outreach and Public Service
The University of Saskatchewan has an historic mission of outreach and public service within Saskatchewan and beyond. The Award for Distinction in Outreach and Public Service acknowledges outstanding and sustained efforts in furthering the University’s outreach and public service mandate, and recognizes that the individual volunteer activities of staff and faculty reflect positively on the university community as a whole. Outreach and public service include activities and programs as well as attitudes and approaches within many fields of work or volunteerism designed to inform, involve, or assist external publics.
The Award for Outreach and Public Service exists to give recognition to staff and faculty members of the University of Saskatchewan community who have contributed greatly and with distinction, by volunteering or in other ways, to the achievement of the University’s outreach and public service mission.
